There is a certain kind of quiet you get near the Pacific. The wind moves through the dune grass, the salt air comes in soft, and before long everyone finds their own rhythm.
Clark is a luxury cabin in Long Beach WA, built for guests who care about comfort, good design, good food, and having something easy to do together. It is the newest Beachhousewa home, the twin cabin to Lewis, and a short, beautiful walk from the Pacific Ocean.
I built Clark with modern, rustic, and luxury touches throughout, but the real point was never to make it feel showy. Every feature and detail is purposeful. The space is equal parts beautiful, comfortable, and entertaining, with two master suites, a gourmet kitchen, indoor games, outdoor gathering spaces, shared game courts, and the kind of details you only get when the person building the home is also the person hosting you.
What Makes Clark a Luxury Cabin in Long Beach WA
Clark is about 1,450 square feet, with two bedrooms, two beds, and two bathrooms. It works beautifully for up to four guests who want privacy, comfort, and a little more polish than a standard beach rental. Each bedroom is set up as a master space, so couples traveling together do not have to negotiate over who gets the better room.
The ground floor master has a king Tempur-Pedic mattress, a 55-inch OLED TV, Apple TV, a Sonos soundbar and sub, heated floors, indirect lighting, and a bathroom that feels like its own small retreat. There is a large multi-head shower with steamer, a high-end smart toilet, a heated towel bar, and a soaker tub in the adjoining outdoor screen room.
The loft master has its own personality, with a post and beam glass wall, king Tempur-Pedic mattress, 55-inch OLED TV, Apple TV, Sonos soundbar, Nintendo Switch 2, heated tile floors, skylight, private deck, and lounge chairs. It gives the home that open cabin feeling, with just enough separation to make everyone feel comfortable.
Step Inside the Great Room

Natural light pours in even on overcast Pacific Northwest days, something you won't find in a typical rental cabin.
Glass front cabinets stocked with color coordinated Fiesta dishware and a full bar glassware collection: wine, champagne, beer, spirits, and cocktail glasses.
A guitar on the wall, ready to play. One of many small, thoughtful details that make Clark feel like a home.
Photos rarely capture a room like this, so Clark was designed to be explored. Look up and you will find seven skylights bringing in natural light, even on a gray Pacific Northwest day, framed by an open beamed cathedral ceiling. Look ahead and a floor to ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace anchors the entire space, visible from the kitchen, dining table, and couch.
The details continue throughout the room. Glass front cabinets hold a mixed color Fiestaware collection, along with specialty glassware for wine, champagne, beer, spirits, and cocktails. A guitar hangs on the wall, ready to play.
Beside the leather sofa is a truly unique side table made from a cedar stump. The stump was cut from a Washington cedar log salvaged from the bottom of a lake, giving the piece a history and character that cannot be reproduced.
These are the small, purposeful touches most vacation rentals overlook. At Clark, they are part of what makes the home feel personal, memorable, and completely original.
A Kitchen Built for People Who Actually Cook
I did not want guests to open a drawer in Clark and find it half empty, or dig through a junk drawer looking for the right tool.
Clark’s kitchen was designed for guests who might want to do more than reheat takeout. It has a gas stovetop, two sinks, excellent counter space, Smeg appliances, a Smeg steamer oven, a KitchenAid mixer, and a wide variety of real kitchen tools.
You will also find a panini grill, waffle maker, bread maker, pizza oven, ice cream maker, baking dishes, pans, cast iron cookware, stainless steel cookware, Fiestaware dishes, Yeti cups, specialty glassware, and coffee options for nearly every kind of morning. Drip, pour-over, press, espresso, Bialetti, burr grinder, milk frother, pick your ritual.
This is the kind of kitchen that makes staying in feel like part of the trip. Pick up seafood, make a slow breakfast, try your hand at pizza night, or bring home something from the Columbia-Pacific Farmers Market when it is in season.
Indoor Games and Rainy Day Entertainment
The Game Courts at Lewis and Clark
One of Clark’s best outdoor features is the shared common area with Lewis. Guests have access to a 13 by 75 foot bocce court, a pickleball court, and a tournament quality sand volleyball court.
These are highly customized, carefully crafted game courts created with the same attention to detail that makes Clark so special. They give families, couples, and groups of friends an easy way to spend time together between beach walks, meals, and relaxing in the hot tub.
Play pickleball in the morning, enjoy a game of bocce before dinner, or organize a friendly volleyball match. The courts make Clark feel like much more than a place to sleep. They make the property part of the vacation experience.
Why Clark Works as a Luxury Cabin in Long Beach, WA, Within Walking Distance of the Beach
A luxury cabin in Long Beach, WA, Clark sits within walking distance of the beach, where the last light settles over the dune grass and your shoes bring a little sand back to the door. Inside, the gas fireplace is already warming the room, setting the rhythm for time outside, a good meal, a long soak, and an evening with the people you came to see.
I built Clark as the twin cabin to Lewis, carrying forward the details that make a beach house work well in real life. I thought about where you set your coffee, how two couples can unpack comfortably, and how the whole group can gather without the house ever feeling crowded.
Every feature and detail is purposeful. No corners were cut.
Clark is the newest home in the Beachhousewa collection. Warm wood, natural light, modern finishes, and an open layout give the cabin an easy sense of comfort and style from the moment you arrive.
The gas fireplace anchors the living area. The fully loaded kitchen keeps everyone connected while dinner comes together, a game is spread across the table, or someone decides that another soak in the hot tub sounds like a very good idea.
Pick up oysters, crab, or razor clams in season, then come home and cook at your own pace. Clam fritters, anyone?
This luxury cabin within walking distance of the beach in Long Beach, WA, was planned around the way guests actually spend their time, together when they choose to be, with private space when they prefer.
Two Primary Suites With Equal Attention to Comfort

Clark has two private primary suites, each with a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The balanced layout works beautifully for two couples, close friends, or a multigenerational family.
No one gets the obvious second-choice room. Each suite gives you a comfortable place to unpack, sleep well, and reset after a day outside.
That balance makes Clark especially easy to share. The living spaces draw everyone together, while the two suites give each pair or part of the family a quiet place of their own.
The Bedding Details Matter

Tempur-pedic king mattress with down comforter and pillows.
Step straight out to a private deck from the sitting area, with two recliners set up for morning coffee or evening quiet time.
Pendleton wool blanket.
I pay close attention to the beds because they can quietly shape an entire vacation. Both master suites at Clark feature king Tempur Pedic mattresses, down feather bed toppers, down pillows, down comforters, Belgian linen duvets, high thread count cotton sheets, and down feather accent pillows.
A Pendleton wool blanket adds another layer of warmth, texture, and Pacific Northwest character.
In the loft master, a massive center cut live edge slab creates a truly one of a kind feature. Its natural shape and scale make it a statement piece that could never be duplicated by mass produced furniture.
After a long beach walk, a windy bike ride, a visit to Cape Disappointment, or an evening around the fire table, a comfortable bed becomes one of the most valuable luxuries in the house.
Clark works especially well for couples traveling together, a small family, or guests who appreciate additional privacy. With two thoughtfully designed master suites, nobody receives the lesser room.
Private Spa Features for Slow Coastal Evenings
The Washington Coast has a way of working the noise out of your head. Clark continues that feeling with three private spa features. Together, these details make Clark a thoughtful choice for travelers looking for a Long Beach, WA cabin with a hot tub and a little more care built into the experience.
Outdoor Soaking Tub

The outdoor soaking tub is a peaceful place to sit in the coastal air. Bring coffee in the morning, or take a little time outside before dinner while the wind moves through the trees.
Hot Tub, Fire-Table, Grill, and Outdoor Living

Clark’s private yard was designed for spending time outdoors. A premium Hot Spring hot tub sits beneath a pergola, with a custom bar positioned alongside it and three custom barstools.
The outdoor living area also includes comfortable seating for six, a custom fire table, loungers, chairs, recliners, dining surfaces, and two outdoor showers.
A Blaze grill is available with propane provided, along with a covered outdoor sink and fish cleaning station. All of this makes Clark especially convenient for guests preparing seafood, grilling dinner, or returning from the beach with sandy feet.
Clark also has a private ladder golf court in the yard. It is an easy and entertaining activity to enjoy before dinner or while the grill is going. With games, seating, a hot tub, and the fire table nearby, the house itself becomes the evening plan.
A Steamer Shower, Hot Tub, and Outdoor Soaker Tub

A rain shower head built right into the pergola post, steps from the hot tub. Rinse off sand before soaking, no need to go back inside.
Private Hot Tub. Tucked under the pergola, with a built-in wood step and bar top right beside it.
The bathing spaces at Clark are an important part of the experience. The spacious multihead shower includes a steamer, making it especially enjoyable after a cool beach walk or a stormy winter day along the coast.
Outside, a premium Hot Spring hot tub sits beneath a private pergola and is serviced weekly. Nearby, a custom fire table surrounded by cushioned swivel chairs creates a comfortable place to gather in the evening.
Decorative glass fishing floats and string lights hang from the pergola beams, offering a subtle connection to Pacific Northwest beach traditions.
The hot tub and outdoor soaker tub provide two different ways to slow down. Enjoy a soak after dinner, listen to the wind moving through the grass, and then step inside to the warmth of the gas fireplace.
Parking, EV Charging, and RV Hookup
Clark offers generous parking, EV charging, and an RV hookup. An additional fee applies for RV use, so please contact Toby before booking if someone in your group plans to bring an RV.
The standard occupancy is four guests inside the house. With approved RV use, occupancy may increase to six guests, with four staying in the house and two in the RV.
Dog-Friendly, Because the Beach Is Better With Your Dog
Clark is dog friendly, and that was an intentional decision. The Long Beach Peninsula is perfect for long walks with your dog, especially along the wide stretches of sand where there is plenty of room to explore.
Beachhousewa homes provide practical pet amenities, including dog beds, dog dishes, and outdoor washing stations. After a run through the sand, these thoughtful details make returning home easier.
Before booking, please review the current dog guidelines on the Clark listing so everything is clear. For questions or a possible exception, please reach out to Toby, and he will get back to you.
Close to the Beach, Downtown, and the Best of the Peninsula
Clark keeps you close to the reason people come here: the Pacific. Long Beach has about 28 miles of continuous sand, which gives you room to walk, fly a kite, dig for razor clams in season, or simply stand there and let the ocean do what it does.
Downtown Long Beach is a quick drive away, with Scooper’s Market for ice cream, Marsh’s Free Museum for Jake the Alligator Man, and the famous giant frying pan on Pacific Avenue. You can spend a day on the beach, take the kids to Funland, grab seafood at The Depot or Pickled Fish, then come home to the quiet of Clark.

Clark Through The Seasons
Summer
Long days and steady kite-flying wind. Time for the boardwalk, the Discovery Trail, and dinner on the grill at nine.
Fall
The crowds go home and the peninsula turns quiet. Razor clam digs return, and they run on evening low tides.
Winter
Made for storm watching. Walk the beach in the wind, then come back to the steam shower and the fireplace.
Spring
Milder days and migrating birds along the refuge. The trails open up again and the whole coast feels new.
A Good Fit for Slow Food, Beach Walks, and Quiet Evenings
Clark is designed for guests who appreciate the details and prefer a slower, more meaningful coastal experience.
Make an early morning coffee, pour it into your Yeti mug, and enjoy a walk before breakfast while your coffee remains warm throughout the stroll.
Return to prepare a delicious breakfast in a kitchen designed for people who truly enjoy cooking. After a full day exploring the peninsula, open a bottle of wine and settle into a recliner in the screened outdoor room.
Later, step outside and gather around the fire table. Rest, relax, and enjoy being present instead of rushing to the next activity.

End the Day With a Beach Bonfire
A beach bonfire is one of my favorite family traditions. Whenever the wind slows and the weather allows, I love walking to the beach with a wagon filled with firewood, beach chairs, and roasting sticks.
There is nothing quite like spending a beautiful evening on the sand beside the Pacific Ocean. There is open space in every direction, the sky seems endless, and the ocean stretches as far as you can see.
It is one of those moments that lets you experience the true vastness of this place while feeling peaceful, grateful, and connected to the people around you.
I have created a practical guide explaining how to plan your own beach bonfire in Long Beach, including what to bring and what to consider before heading out.
Built by an Owner Who Sweated the Details
I built and manage the Beachhousewa homes myself, and Clark reflects the lessons I have learned from every home before it. Years ago, when I was fixing up my first beach house, I kept running into shortcuts left behind by other builders. That frustration eventually pushed me to build my own homes from the ground up, with no corners cut.
Clark is part of that story. The layout, finishes, beds, kitchen flow, bathing spaces, and little comforts were all chosen with real guests in mind. A house like this should feel polished, but never precious. You should feel comfortable cooking, laughing, settling in by the fire, or coming back sandy after a long walk on the beach.
