Enjoy a tour of the North Head Lighthouse, one of the most photographed sights on Southern Washington’s coast. Tours start at 11 a.m. and run every 15 minutes until the last tour at 3 p.m.

Every Saturday, learn a new craft with local artisans. You can learn to work with a wide range of materials from clay to screenprinting and embroidery. Each workshop is a stand alone class, so you’re welcome to do as many or as few as you’d like.

Head over to Waikiki Beach in Cape Disappointment State Park for their free summer concert series. The concerts take place every other Saturday from June to August. This family-friendly activity is the perfect way to spend a great evening outdoors.

Hosted on 3 separate occasions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Kids Summer Arts Camp is ideal for children 3rd grade to 8th grade. Pay $75 (materials + snacks included) for 3 days of fun for your kiddos. Registration in advance required.

From Memorial Day through Labor DAy, the city of Long Beach offers a free summer concert series Thursdays (5-7 pm) and Saturdays (1-3 pm). No need to purchase tickets in advance, just bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the tunes.

Free for anyone who would like to watch the show, the city of Long Beach will put on its annual fireworks show starting at 10 p.m. on July 4th from the Boardwalk.

Hosted by the Peninsula Association of Performing Arts (PAPA) 3 days a week throughout summer, sing along to the Sound of Music. On Fridays and Saturdays, the show starts at 7 p.m. and on Sunday it starts at 2 p.m.

Choose to partake or just watch the magic unfold at Long Beach’s annual sandcarving event. People of all ages or skill levels are more than welcome to join and showcase their sand castle building or sand carving skills.

Come and enjoy the 6th annual Peninsula Rhythm & Blues Festival. This +21 festival is the perfect place to enjoy 2 days of eating, drinking, and of course, dancing along to great live music from local and international acts.

Join in on a long standing Long Beach tradition - a day at the rodeo! Gates open at 11 a.m. for a Cowboy Breakfast or come at 1 p.m. for bull riding, saddle bronc, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, breakaway calf roping, and barrel racing.

Head to the Port of Peninsula to enjoy a day of fresh oysters, local beer and wine, and soulful jazz. There will also be other food and drinks to enjoy as it’s a kid-friendly event for the whole family to enjoy.
