Vacation rentals in Long Beach, WA give you room to settle into the coast instead of simply passing through it. The beach keeps going, the dune grass leans with the wind, and somewhere between the salt air and the sound of tires on Pacific Avenue, your shoulders drop a little.
I own and manage five homes on the Long Beach Peninsula, and I built or fully remodeled each one. I know these houses down to the screws because, at some point, I probably had my hands on them. When you compare vacation rentals in Long Beach, WA, the useful questions are how many people are coming, how you spend time together, and how much quiet everyone needs.
What Sets These Vacation Rentals in Long Beach, WA Apart
Plenty of homes on the Peninsula will put you close to the sand. I kept working on mine after the major construction was finished, paying attention to how people actually cook, gather, sleep, bring dogs inside after a wet walk, and spend a rainy afternoon. Every feature and detail is purposeful.
That attention shows up in Tempur-Pedic mattresses, fast free WiFi, fully loaded kitchens, hot tubs, spacious great rooms, and dog beds, dishes, and outdoor washing stations. Each home has its own personality, but the same standard carries through all five. No corners were cut.
All five homes are within walking distance of each other. A family reunion can reserve two homes, while a larger group can spread across several and still meet for dinner, games, or a walk to the Pacific. Separate spaces make different bedtimes and morning routines much easier.
The Five Beachhousewa Homes, Side by Side

How to Choose Among Vacation Rentals in Long Beach, WA
Ocean Trail for a Larger Group and an Oceanfront View

Ocean Trail is the largest home, with six total bedrooms including two master suites, an unobstructed Pacific view, and private beach access. The game room, outdoor fireplace, and hot tub give the group several places to spend time, while the ocean remains visible from the property. The view carries through even when everybody stays close to the house.
This home works well when the house needs to carry a meaningful part of the experience. Extended families and established friend groups can gather comfortably, then separate when someone needs quiet.
Seagrass for Built-In Activities

Seagrass is a cedar cabin in a gated community with an ocean view, five total bedrooms including three master suites, a large fully loaded game room, a volleyball court, and a hot tub. A weekend only gives you a small taste of the house, which is a pretty good problem for a beach rental to have. Different ages can find something to do without leaving the property.
Seagrass was my first ground-up build. Beach Cabin had already taught me how frustrating construction shortcuts can be, so I wanted to start with an empty lot and do the next house properly. The result gave families room to play, cook, gather, and find their own corner.
Beach Cabin for Trees and Privacy

Beach Cabin is where Beachhousewa began. I searched for six years before finding it, and the place needed plenty of work when I arrived. I still remember seeing past the rough condition and knowing what it could become.
Today, the cabin has two master suites, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, a game room, a hot tub, and 1.2 wooded acres only minutes from the Pacific. The setting feels tucked away, which suits two couples, a small family, or guests who want quiet around the house. Trees give the property a different mood from the more open beach settings. The grounds are thoughtfully landscaped with flowers, succulents, herbs and all kinds of plants. The pergola is a central spot to gather and enjoy a soak in the hot tub or a seat by the custom fire table.
Lewis for Natural Light and a Slower Pace

Lewis has two master suites, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, a gas fireplace, an outdoor soaker tub, and a hot tub. The design feels open and bright while still giving both suites privacy. It is a short, beautiful walk from the beach.
This is an easy cabin for unhurried days. Make coffee, walk the sand, cook dinner at home, and soak outside after the wind picks up. Lewis feels comfortable and grounded, with details that reveal themselves gradually instead of demanding attention.
Clark for the Newest Version of the Idea

Clark is the newest home and the twin cabin to Lewis. It is about 1,450 square feet, with two master suites, two king Tempur-Pedic beds, two bathrooms, and standard occupancy for four guests inside the house. Nobody gets the lesser bedroom.
I had a rare second chance with Clark. I took what I learned from Lewis and applied it to natural light, privacy, comfort, woodworking, indirect lighting, and the outdoor spaces. Clark feels modern, rustic, and a little whimsical, without following somebody else’s playbook.
The great room has seven skylights, a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace, a guitar ready to play, and glass-front cabinets filled with mixed-color Fiestaware. The kitchen includes two sinks, a gas stovetop, Smeg appliances, a pizza oven, an ice cream maker, cast iron and stainless steel cookware, and several ways to make coffee. Every drawer is stocked and organized, with nothing left half empty.
Outside, Clark has a Hot Spring hot tub beneath a pergola, a fire table, a Blaze grill, two outdoor showers, an outdoor soaker tub, and a private ladder golf court. Guests also share a pickleball court, a 13-by-75-foot bocce court, and a tournament-quality sand volleyball court with Lewis. The outdoor spaces were planned for actual use, from rinsing sandy feet to sitting beside the fire.

Bringing Your Dog to Long Beach
Dogs belong at the beach, and all five homes welcome approved dogs under the guidelines listed for each property. Dog beds, dog dishes, and outdoor washing stations are provided. The rinse area becomes especially useful after the weather turns sideways for ten minutes and every paw comes back sandy.
Please review the current dog guidelines before booking so everything is clear. If you have any questions or would like an exception, please just reach out to Toby and he will get back to you. A little communication before arrival keeps the stay comfortable for everyone.
Booking More Than One Home
The walking distance between the five homes creates a useful setup for multigenerational trips, reunions, and long-running friend gatherings. Grandparents can keep an earlier schedule, younger guests can stay up over a board game, and everyone can meet again without loading into several cars. The group stays connected without asking every household to follow the same routine.
This arrangement also gives people breathing room during a longer stay. One home can host dinner while another stays quiet for naps or remote work. You keep the feeling of a shared vacation while giving each household a front door of its own.
Plan Your Long Beach Stay
Long Beach is special because the days can stay simple. You have miles of sand, a happily strange downtown, oysters and chowder, forested trails, and a comfortable house waiting when the wind comes up. Each Beachhousewa home gives that experience a different shape, with Clark representing the newest version of everything I have learned.
